Kartwright Academy Warning ::Adult themes; violence, swearing, sexual activity, drugs, & alcohol.
Old fashioned Pirates. Cell phones and computers. Humans, vampires, werewolves and hybrids.
There is only one place that all these come together.
The island of Kyros is known for the boarding school built in the center of the island and for the mysterious stories about mystical creatures. Kartwright Academy has a reputation of teaching some of the smartest people in the world, and the upcoming year is no different.
Humans from all over the world fight with money and test scores in order to send their students to school at Kartwright. What they do not know is that Kartwright Academy is nothing like other boarding schools. This school is a safe haven for Vampire, Werewolf, and Hybrid teens. This year is the first year it is open to humans other than those that live on Kyros.
The school looks and acts like an ordinary boarding school, but there are things going on behind closed doors that no one wants the outside world to know about. This year things are going to get strange as a strange wind blows in. Everyone on the island of Kyros knows that these strange new Pirates and the Naval ship chasing after them are not here to trade or to even pilage. They are after something much greater, the Children of Calypso.
The two sons and two daughters of the Godess of the Sea are students at the Academy, but only recently came out of the safety of their home in the grasslands to attend. Their mother speaks of some sort of danger coming for them, so they made a deal with the Headmaster to attend the school.
So, not only are these strange new teenagers attending the school, but so are humans from all over the world. Hormones are racing along with the lust for blood, power and sex. Trying to keep the peace on the island of Kyros is going to be a challange this year. Trying to keep the peace between the students will be even more complicated, especially when the flames ignite and the students start biting.
